4 - EU Blue Card – the framework for lawful employment
The EU Blue Card is a residence permit that may entitle a highly qualified professional from a third country to reside in Hungary and to carry out work requiring high-level qualifications. Among other things, the permit requires an appropriate qualification, an employment contract or preliminary agreement that meets the conditions, and compliance with the current legal requirements. The procedure is always subject to an individual decision by the authorities.
Important professional requirement:
The EU Blue Card alone does not entitle the holder to practise dentistry independently. The recognition in Hungary of the dental qualification obtained in India, entry into the basic register and the registration to practise, and the fulfilment of all other prescribed conditions are required separately. The position and the start date must be aligned with these.
