Our client is a Korean automotive supplier. We are looking for a Finance Manager to join the management of its Hungarian subsidiary, which was founded in connection with its greenfield investment in Debrecen. Your main task will be to assist in the development of the newly established financial and accounting organization and to carry out the tasks that will result from the company's continuous growth.
· Manage, motivate, control and evaluate the finance team;
· Preparing regular financial statements, reports and statistics both in English and Hungarian;
· Preparing monthly/quarterly/annual accounting and statistical reports;
· Liaising with statutory auditors and tax authorities, providing support to finance teams within the country;
· Assist in updating accounting policies and procedures;
· Prepares position papers on tax and accounting issues;
· Coordinating tax processes, assisting in the preparation of tax returns;
· Liaising with external organisations and partners;
· Preparation of tender budget and accounts.
· Higher education in finance, accounting, economics;
· Minimum 8 years experience in accounting, finance and/or controlling;
· Advanced knowledge of Excel and its analysis functions;
· C1 level of English;
· Experience in team management
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
· Precision, reliability, good time management;
· Ability to work independently;
· Determination, reliability.
· Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) an advantage;
· Professional experience in business performance analysis;
· Knowledge of grant accounting.
